What we accept

Womens, mens and childrens apparel, shoes, and accessories
Jewelry
Small Furniture like dining sets, loveseats, couches, end tables, dressers, and coffee tables
Housewares and linens
Small appliances in working order (microwaves, toasters, blenders, coffee makers)

Appliances manufactured in 2015 or later (washers, dryers, and refrigerators)
Seasonal/holiday items
Books, movies, and music
Clean, reusable shopping bags – paper or plastic grocery store bags as well!
Newspapers

Please bag or box items, remove hangers and wrap breakables in newspaper or tissue.
If possible, please separate clothing items from household items.

WHAT WE Don't ACCEPT

Stained, soiled, or torn clothing or shoes
Broken furniture or houseware items
Large, executive desks or furniture items over 6-feet-tall (ex. armories, china cabinets)
Non-working electronics
Mattresses or box springs

Automobile parts or tires
Hazardous materials (chemicals, insecticides)
Childrens toys or cribs
Stoves
Wire hangers

The Resale Shop (TRS) can host volunteers over 40 hours per week. Volunteers are critical to our business plan to provide services for our programs at Center for Transforming Lives. Whether you are interested in group volunteering with 4-12 volunteers during the same day, or personally for recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly shifts - TRS can accommodate.
